LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) is an abbreviation for compressed natural gas that is converted into liquid form. This technology is increasingly important in connection with the increasing demand for gas and the need to transport and store this energy. Thanks to the ability to convert from gas to liquid and back, LNG can be used in a variety of areas, including power plants, natural gas in homes and as a fuel for vehicles. The provision of LNG in Slovakia opens up the possibilities of using this alternative form of energy in several sectors, including industry, transport and heating. LNG can be used as a fuel for trucks, shipping or as an energy source for heating industrial facilities and residential buildings.
