The chain began to supply its stores using trucks that pollute the air much less.
Ecological trucks with a combined CNG/LNG drive have started to increase among the supply vehicles of the well-known chain. A truck can travel 400 kilometers on one tank of CNG gas.
It is a gas drive that produces only minimal emissions.
Replacement natural gas supply
The storability, the ability to transport outside the gas pipeline network and the technology with easy regasification will unlock new market development opportunities mainly for gas companies. The LNG stock may be increased to any technically relevant volume upon agreement.
How is LNG changing the gas market of Central Europe?
LNG is an alternative fuel that has become a reality. The LNG terminal operating in Poland, in Świnoujście, is part of the North-South gas corridor. It represents an alternative route of gas supplies and ensures the diversification of gas supplies. In addition, LNG develops several aspects – within them the EC’s goals for reducing emissions in transport.
